Marisa Diamond has worked as a tutor, teaching assistant, and instructor in varied settings. Since discovering her love for teaching as a "gymnastics coach" with her neighbors at 7 years old, Marisa has filled a wide range of professional teaching roles with youth and adults since 2012. 

 

During her college years, she worked in inner city Detroit as a tutor to elementary schoolers in Detroit Public Schools, as well as a teaching assistant in on-campus preschools. Immediately following college, she spent a year as a lead teacher at the renowned social circus school, Circus Harmony, located in downtown St. Louis, where she returned for Summer 2019 as Camp Director. She has been a guest teaching artist at national AYCO festivals, as well as dance, circus and theater programs from Alaska to New Zealand. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked as a private online tutor. Most recently, she served as a Program Coordinator at CircEsteem in Chicago.

Combining her passion for arts education and coaching, Marisa has recently started working with gymnastics and dance schools teaching acting for athletes.
